As none of you know, I saw the 1D concert with my best buddy, and... wait for it... Olly Murs opened for them!!!! I had no idea that he was gonna be part of their concert and it was the best surprise ever! I was jumping and singing and screaming and bumping into my chair with excitement while he was up there. Oh! It was so great... but then I got dehydrated and moody and sad, but a very nice usher lady got me a tiny water bottle that helped a lot, I gave myself a peptalk and in no time I was singing again, though not as happy :( Olly was so much more than amazing, it was crazy! He talked to the audience and did hilarious dance moves. He's really, really good live and even though most of the audience didn't know him, they all loved him by the time it was over. I'm a bit sad that I've loved him for like a year now, and these bandwagoners are gonna be all over him, but you take what you get, and I got to see one for my all-time favorite artists live! I seriously could've watched him all night!! Anyways, during this concert, I regret to say that I lost a lot of respect for my former favorite 1D member, Harry Styles. I just feel that he didn't have the connection with the audience that everyone else up there did, even Manika (who seemed to be the opener for Olly) and her hopping DJ who keep saying things that none of us understood. Liam, who I loved immensely already, jumped up a trillion levels in my heart. He had a great presence up there and made sure to wave at every single section, and gave one of his waters to a thirsty fan, as well as gave a styrofoam snowball to a young fan in the front row. Niall, the sweet, sweet boy, was hilarious and amazing. He, Liam, and Zayn were even more phenomenal live than recorded (unreal, right?!) while Louis and Harry were pretty much the same. I wish that we'd been in the front row or at least on the other side of our row (we were 3rd row, in the corner next to the wall), even though our seats were good. It was just kinda hard to see the stage from our angle, and if we were on the other side, it would've been easier for the boys to see us. Liam, Niall, and Zayn made sure to wave a bunch in our direction, but Harry completely ignored our existence, which was kind of weird because it was a whole 1/3 of the theatre that he didn't even look at. Louis was funny, hitting people and such, but we didn't see much of him given that he was on the other side of the stage for probably 79/80 of the show's duration. Anyways, it was SO fun, but I'm sad that I was disappointed in Harry, and that I was deaf for about ten minutes after the concert. Still, I got to see them in person and now love Zayn, Niall, and Liam even more, which was a plus. And, Olly Murs made my life, so that works! :) Pretty fantastic first concert for a teenage girl, eh?
